Seoul National University

Seoul National University, known as "Seoul Daehakgyo" in Korean, is a comprehensive national university located in the capital city of South Korea, Seoul. It is a member of various international university associations and organizations, including the Association of Pacific Rim Universities, the Asia University Alliance, the East Asian Four University Forum, and the Association of East Asian Research Universities.


Seoul National University consists of several faculties, including the Faculty of Humanities, the Faculty of Engineering, the Faculty of Fine Arts, the Faculty of Public Administration, and the Faculty of Education.

Korea University, also known as "Goryeo Daehakgyo" in Korean, is a private university located within Seoul, South Korea. It is one of the three prestigious universities in South Korea, often referred to as the "S.K.Y." universities, alongside Seoul National University and Yonsei University. The university is also a member of various international alliances and organizations, including the Association of Pacific Rim Universities, the Asia-Pacific International Trade Education and Research Alliance, the Asia-Pacific International Education Association, Universitas 21 (a founding member), and the University Hockey League.


Korea University was founded in 1905 with the vision of "education saves the nation" by Lee Young-Ik, who was the Imperial Commissioner of the Daehan Empire. It originated from the private Bosung College and was the first higher education institution in Korea to be established with private capital.

The university offers various faculties, including the Business School, College of Political Science and Economics, School of Law, College of Science, College of Liberal Arts, College of Engineering, and College of Education.

Yonsei University is located in Seoul, South Korea. It is a comprehensive research-oriented university established on Christian principles. Along with Seoul National University and Korea University, Yonsei University is often referred to as one of South Korea's top three universities, collectively known as the "S.K.Y." universities. It is a member of the Association of Pacific Rim Universities, the Association of East Asian Research Universities, and the Asia Campus network.


Yonsei University is known for its highly competitive admissions, requiring students to be in the top one percent of the national college entrance examination to gain admission. The university is also famous for the annual "Yonsei-Korea" rivalry, a highly anticipated sports competition between Yonsei University and Korea University.


In terms of international rankings, Yonsei University was ranked 201-300 in the 2021 Academic Ranking of World Universities (ARWU), 151st in the 2022 Times Higher Education World University Rankings, 73rd in the 2023 QS World University Rankings, and 317th in the 2022 U.S. News & World Report Best Global Universities Ranking.


Yonsei University offers a variety of faculties, including the School of Business, the College of Economics, the College of Engineering, the College of Science, and the College of Education.

Hanyang University

Hanyang University, often referred to as Hanyang University, is a private comprehensive university located in Seoul, South Korea. The university is a member of various organizations, including the Pacific Asian Consortium for International Business Education and Research (PACIBER), the Asia-Pacific International Education Association, and it is one of the institutions involved in the BK21 (Brain Korea 21) program. Hanyang University evolved from a foundation in science and engineering and has grown into a comprehensive university.


In the comprehensive university rankings of South Korea's Chosun Ilbo, Hanyang University is ranked third. It is also ranked second in the 2021 Academic Ranking of World Universities (ARWU) for South Korea and 24th in the 2022 QS Asia University Rankings. Additionally, in the 2022 QS Graduate Employability Rankings, Hanyang University is ranked 96th globally.
